Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 with a "TWIST"

Welcome to another Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge!!  First of all I have to start out with an apology...  we are getting a bit of a late start today and it's all my fault...  I was lending a hand with my Grandson, and due to a couple of mis-postings...  I ended up deleting the wonderful Post that was all prepared by Sharon of our Design Team.  I am so sorry Sharon!!!  It really was wonderful and I know that I will not do this week's Post any justice as I have only slept about one hour...  but I shall give it a go...

First of all, I'll introduce you to the reason for my blunder...  my sweet Grandson William born last Friday - I'm in love!!

On with our Challenge.... once again Welcome!!  This week we are not having our typical Challenge.  The last Wednesday of each month we are trying something new and adding a TWIST to our Challenge.  You can use any one of our previous Sketches (which can be found by opening the "Previous Sketches" tab at the top of the page), just please let us know which Sketch you have chosen...  and then we will add a TWIST each month.  This month's Twist it to use Paper Piecing!!

SSW2-03: DigiStamp Boutique

Good morning everyone! It's Joanna from Colorado, home of the Denver Broncos, as your hostess this week.  I thought I'd put in that plug in for my home team.  Woot Woot!  It's ALL about football around here lately.  This is the Denver Capital building all lit up to celebrate our team's successes.

We spent our weekend clustered around the TV, watching a nail-biter game against the San Diego Chargers.  When we finally won, my hubby leaned back and said, "Well, if we can just get by the Pats, I think we've got the Super Bowl in the bag."  We all laughed because that is such a big IF.  Tom Brady and the Patriots are soo good this year!  But enough about sports!  On to the good stuff, our big announcement.  Drum roll please,

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!

Happy Wednesday!!  and... Happy New Year!!  Welcome to the new home of Sweet Sketch Wednesday "2"!!  First of all I owe a BIG THANK YOU to Arlana and Judi for the opportunity to continue the Sketch Challenge and for all the help answering my MANY questions.  Sweet Sketch Wednesday was one of the Challenge that I stumbled upon and began my card making...  I had always loved to Scrapbook and to Quilt and now, most recently I LOVE to create Sketches and make Cards (sorry Hallmark).  I love to Bless people with cards and get so much pleasure creating cards just for that special person.  I wish Arlana and Judi all the best and hope to see them join us as Guest Designers from time to time - they know they are always welcome!!

Most of you will know the members of the Design Team - I am so thankful that most of the DT are joining me in this new venture...  Jeannie, you will be missed, but I know we will meet often in the world of Blogs...
