Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 October 2025

                         Hello and welcome back, dear crafty friends,

 I'm Doris – nicknamed Kleido – and this month I'm your host. But before I begin my actual post for this challenge, I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself today...

My husband and I have been vacationing at Lake Constance every year for almost 20 years. We love this place because we find everything there: mountains, lake, country life, culture, and even a touch of Mediterranean flair. The most famous town here is Überlingen... 

Wasserburg, located on the Bavarian side, is also beautiful. From there, you can easily travel to Austria or Switzerland for a day trip. For years, we alternated with Überlingen, which is located on the Baden-Württemberg side of Lake Constance.

Since we especially enjoy hiking, the Lake Constance region – whether in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria – is a true hiking paradise. Whether through numerous orchards, through forests, over the mountains, or simply along the lake... We almost circled it! It's our second home!

My absolute highlight was a Zeppelin flight, which my husband and parents gave me for my 40th birthday three years ago! It went from Friedrichshafen to Meersburg and back again!

Now, back to our current challenge:

Sweet Sketches for September

 Hello, crafting friends. It's Kathie from New Zealand here for you this month. I know I'm at the other end of the world for most of you.  But did you know we are the first country in the world to see the new day?  New Zealand has a tiny population compared to other countries in the world, as of 2024, we reach just over 5 million.  I live about an hour's drive from Auckland, which is our largest city.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2- August 2025 Sketches 308 and 309

 Hi there, crafty friends and welcome to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!  I'm Kelly and will be your hostess for this month.  I am lucky enough to live in Southern Alberta, Canada, and it's been a rainy but fantastic summer!  Everything is lush and green, and it's been great.  

I am currently in Northern Idaho on vacation so here are a couple photos from on the water on Lake Pend Orielle but we're actually on the river side-Sandpoint, Idaho.
