JULY CHALLENGE

Good morning and welcome back to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!  We're happy to have you join us for July- yes, July already. We are over halfway through the year.

Hi, it's Kathie here this month, from New Zealand.  At this time of year in the Southern Hemisphere, it's winter, and I woke up to 2 Degrees Celsius.  For me, that's cold. I have a friend living in the South Island of New Zealand in Queenstown, a stunning part of our country where parts of The Lord of the Rings were filmed.  She woke to 0 this morning, to a beautiful day, but won't get any warmer than 6 Celsius.

 

I would like to thank everyone who had the time to answer Anne's questions about our Challenge Blog last month.  We'll be sitting down and having a team talk via Messenger about what and if we make any changes to our challenge.

June 2026 - Surveys and Sketches

Hello and welcome back to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!  We're happy to have you join us for June. I'm Anne here as your hostess this month.

Before we get into the sketches I'd like to ask you a few questions,  we've been thinking about making some tweaks for a while and your answers may help us decide on the way forward. Please use the comments section for your responses, we would love to hear your feedback. 

Question 1 - Would you prefer a monthly challenge or a challenge twice a month with an extra challenge on a 5th Wednesday?

Question2 - Would you like an optional theme as an alternative to the sketch challenge so you would either follow the sketch or make a card with a theme?

Question3 - When you enter a challenge how important is the chance to win a physical or digital prize?  

We have all the sketches ready for next year so we're not planning on going anywhere but maybe just tweaking things a little.
