Hello and welcome back, dear crafty friends,
I'm Doris – nicknamed Kleido – and this month I'm your host. However, before I begin the actual post about this challenge, I'd like to share a little about myself, just as my teammates did.
I'm originally from Stuttgart...
I'm originally from Stuttgart...
...and moved to Duisburg to be with my husband 23 years ago. It was a real culture shock for me... because I went from rolling green countryside with great views to a flat, industrial landscape. It still offered plenty of greenery, water, and things to see!
Three years ago, we moved to a rural area, just before the Dutch border – on the Lower Rhine – in the Viersen district. Since then, our lives have unfortunately been turned upside down, as we're renovating the house and garden in addition to work. That's also the reason why you don't see as much of me as we have in all the years before. But better times will come again...
Now, back to our current challenge:

Anne has been a member of the SSW2 DT for 10 years this month, and this is the first sketch that she created as a member of the DT.

ReplyDeleteThis month's retro sketch was exactly what I needed for a sentiment I already had stamped. I love it when a sketch triggers an idea to use something I already have! Thanks for the inspiration!! As I was typing this I just thought of another way to use it to use up another piece from my bits and pieces stash!! :)
