Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 with Sketch # 53 and Bugaboo Digital Stamps

Welcome everyone to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  It’s Kathie here as your hostess this week from New Zealand.  I can't believe that it's the beginning of May already and here we are in the Southern Hemisphere half way through Autumn (Fall) already and still very warm for this time of year.
I know that this time of year is very special to a lot of people in different way, the change of colours in the trees, trees and plants loosing their leaves but for us Kiwi's here in NZ it also means it's Feijoa season.

From a very very large Feijoa to a very small Feijoa both very juicy and sweet.

Feijoa tastes like a mixture of several other fruits, usually described as pineapple, guava, and strawberry and banana. They have an unique flavour either you love them or hate them.  We make smoothies, muffins, cakes and crumbles or just eaten fresh and their smell is amazing. From a Feijoa lover.

For those of you visiting us for the first time, we welcome you to the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 sketch challenge!  We are so happy to have you join us!  And for those loyal followers of our weekly challenge, we welcome you back and thank you for your support!

We get excited with all the amazing creativity you share with us week after week.  Remember to subscribe to our blog. There's a drawing for some goodies when we reach 200 followers.

  3. What a pleasant surprise to be the winner of Challenge #163, thank you so much Design Team. Also, the inspirations for this week's challenge from your Team are all so beautiful, can't wait to get started on my new card...but last week I purchased Flower Bird to use for the next Bugaboo will be difficult to compete against the DT's cards but I may try that anyway. Again, thanks for the honor of being a Winner.

  4. Congrats to the winners and top 3 of the last challenge. Thanks to the DT for their wonderful inspirations. I have never heard of a Feijoa, but I am almost certain as from your description I may not like it, however if I ever come across one I will give it a try.

  5. Lovely sketch and inspirational image & description of the Feijoa - you inspired me to use the sketch and (separately) to see if my grocery store carries feijoa - I've never heard about it before but it sounds delicious!

  6. Thanks for another fabulous sketch! I really loved working with this one.

  7. thankyou for another wonderful sketch .. what would i do without your weekly sketches and inspiration??

  8. Thanks for the sketch and inspiration - great ideas, dp. I have to admit, I struggle with these diagonal shapes - mine came out ok - hooray!
