Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2- August 2025 Sketches 308 and 309

 Hi there, crafty friends and welcome to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!  I'm Kelly and will be your hostess for this month.  I am lucky enough to live in Southern Alberta, Canada, and it's been a rainy but fantastic summer!  Everything is lush and green, and it's been great.  

I am currently in Northern Idaho on vacation so here are a couple photos from on the water on Lake Pend Orielle but we're actually on the river side-Sandpoint, Idaho.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 July 2025

         Good morning and welcome to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2. 

Hello from Yorkshire in the North of England where we have lots of beautiful scenery but at the start of June was lucky enough to visit Norway where the scenery is also beautiful so thought I would share an image of a wonderful waterfall which we visited, this may also help those of us in Europe who are experiencing very hot weather at the moment feel a little cooler (apologies to our southern hemisphere friends and those elsewhere).

Thank you to everyone who entered June's challenge, we'll be back on 16th July with June's winner.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 June 2025

 Hello and welcome back, dear crafty friends,

 I'm Doris – nicknamed Kleido – and this month I'm your host. However, before I begin the actual post about this challenge, I'd like to share a little about myself, just as my teammates did.
I'm originally from Stuttgart... 

...and moved to Duisburg to be with my husband 23 years ago. It was a real culture shock for me... because I went from rolling green countryside with great views to a flat, industrial landscape. It still offered plenty of greenery, water, and things to see!

Three years ago, we moved to a rural area, just before the Dutch border – on the Lower Rhine – in the Viersen district. Since then, our lives have unfortunately been turned upside down, as we're renovating the house and garden in addition to work. That's also the reason why you don't see as much of me as we have in all the years before. But better times will come again...

Now, back to our current challenge:

Every month we have 2 amazing sketches for you, designed by Kathie, which you can also rotate and/or flip, but we should still be able to recognise them.
