Hello Wednesday Sketch friends!!

It's Joanna, from Colorado, back again as your hostess this week.  I'm spending THIS weekend at the Olympic Training Center (OTC) here in Colorado Springs.  My boys are in a pistol club that is lucky enough to train inside the OTC.  This weekend is one of many competitions that they both shoot.  My oldest is determined to be invited to try out for the Junior Olympic team.

I just wanted to share a few photos to show just how lovely this area of my town truly is ...

We are enjoying some warm weather right now.  I was concerned that our Fall was going to be cut short when we had snow a few weeks ago but those worries for naught.  Who doesn't love 70 degree days in October!

Sketch #115 with DigiStamp Boutique

Good morning everyone and welcome to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

It's Kathie here from Auckland New Zealand.  I'm back after 4 and 1/2 months recuperating after breaking my ankle and having surgery and a  plate inserted and 13 screws in my leg and ankle and I'm now learning to walk again, breaking both the Tibia and Fibula bones.  It's lovely to be back especially creating cards, as I couldn't tackle the stairs to my craft room up until recently.

Well it's the beginning of Winter here in New Zealand and two weeks ago we had visitors from Australia, she showed my this lovely photo and I wondered where she had taken it, your driveway she said.  Doesn't it show you how we take things for granted sometimes, and now with what I've been through it's taught me to take one day at a time and to enjoy our lives.

Well hello there, Wednesday friends!!

It's Joanna, from Colorado, back again as your hostess this week.  Spring is trying to come to Colorado.  We've had some warmer weather,  and there are hopeful little buds on trees.  Unfortunately... as most of us who live here know, Spring can come to an end at any point!  Our weatherman has predicted that my area is due to get 8 inches of wet snow on Friday.  (Sigh).  And there goes our Spring!

Welcome to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 and summer from New Zealand.

I can't believe we are half way through February already.  I do hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day and were spoilt rotten.

It was wonderful seeing so many entries this week you must have loved that sketch of Anne's they say and change is as good as a rest.  It was great visiting your blogs and seeing all of your creativity and so many entries.

Farewell Linda

This fortnight it's sad for me to say good bye to a very close and dear friend and Design Team member the lovely Linda Anderson who has decided to move onto greener pastures.  You can't blame Linda for moving on as her and I both started on the design team of Sweet Sketch Wednesday at the same time and then moved onto Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 back in June 2010.  This means Linda has dedicated 6 and half years producing cards every week and then fortnightly and commenting.   I think I can speak for the entire Design Team here and say we'll miss you and your lovely work and wish you all the very best for your future happiness and I know we'll see you in blogland.

We are so grateful that you join us each fortnight. I think that you will be glad that you stopped by this fortnight as we have a new sketch and the return of a favourite sponsor.
