Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday!  

 
 It's Kelly here from Southern Alberta, Canada as your hostess this challenge!  Its my first time as hostess so let me take a moment to introduce myself...I am the wife to one fabulous guy, mom to two amazing kids and loving life in Southern Alberta.  The picture above is taken from my front window!  We live on a farm about an hour east of Calgary, raise Black Angus cattle and have lots of other furry farm friends. Thank you for joining us!

Can you believe that it is the first day of February?!!  Holy moly ... where did January go? Tomorrow is GroundHog's Day here in the States, and before too long it will be time to celebrate Valentine's Day.  I gotta say that GroundHog's Day is one of the sillier holidays here but it IS tradition!

It was so great to get back to creating cards for Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  I think I can speak for the entire Design Team when I say that we enjoy visiting your blogs, and it was fun to get back to seeing YOUR lovely work.

SSW2 Sketch #64 with Dilly Beans

    

      

Welcome everyone to Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.  It’s Kathie here as your hostess this week from New Zealand.  I can't believe that it's the middle of August already and our winter is nearly over and spring is just around the corner.  I can't wait as I'll be having two winters this year as we are off to England and Europe in fours months time for an English winter and Christmas with family and a quick trip around Europe and we'll be away for nearly two months.  Exactly four months today I'll be in Dubai for a stopover on our way to Ireland.

My boys told me that in Dubai they drive the fastest Police cars in the world!  No I didn't believe this statement but it's true their Police Force drive Bugatti, Lamborghini's and Mercedes every man's dream.

SSW2-52 Dilly Beans

I was at an activity for my boys a few days ago.  My job is to get them there on time, with all their belongings and then I am done ... left to amuse myself for 2 1/2 hours.  I had decided to bring my knitting.  I have a scarf that I have been working on for about 3 years.  I'm going to let you all in on a little secret ... I am terrible knitter.  So jumping to the chase, I was sitting there, struggling to figure out how to pick up my lost stitches when this stranger walked up to me, introduced herself and settled down to help me.  And THIS is what I love about crafters, how friendly and willing to help we are as a group.

So thank you for sharing your gorgeous art, fuzzy friend and beautiful baby pictures.  I think I can speak for the entire Design Team when I say that we enjoy visiting your blogs.  We are so grateful that you join us each week.
