February Fun with Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

Hello and welcome to our February challenge here at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2.

It's Anne hosting the challenge this month, I am in Yorkshire in the UK so thought I would share this image of The Bronte Parsonage in Haworth where the Bronte sisters wrote many of their novels and which is only about half an hour away from where I live.

Haworth is a lovely village which a steam railway runs through that was used in the film The Railway Children.

Thank you to all of you who came along and played along last month, there were some really lovely cards and clever ideas submitted as entries, it was a pleasure to visit all of them.

Onto the challenge for this month.

Our prize this month is this pretty stamp, die, papers and embossing folder set.

and Kathie has designed a great bunch of sketches for this year for us to  create with.

Here are the first 2.

Sketch 222

and Sketch 223

and now for the DT inspiration

Kathie used Doodle Pantry Almond Flower on her first card

and here is her second card

Kleido adapting Sketch 222 to a rectangular shape

and then using this sweet Magnolia Stamps image

Olga created with a clip art image on her first card

and a lovely image from Sheepski Designs on her second which she has converted to a rectangular shaped card.

Kelly used Earlie Hedgehog Dandelion from Polkadoodles on her first card

and Sno Worries from SheepSki Designs on her second.

I used a Lili of The Valley stamp on my first card called Vintage Style

and then Dovecrafts Butterfly Kisses Decoupage and papers on my second

We hope that you are inspired to create this month and look forward to visiting your blogs and seeing your creations.

Thank you for visiting us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2

  1. Lovely cards with the sketches design team! Oh wauw ! I would feel excited to live near such a monumental house. I used to see the movies/serials together with my mother years maybe 30 years ago and I read the books of the Bronte sisters. I still have these and not long ago I was considering rereading :) Lovely cards design team!
